FUNSAT IV Workshop

The fourth annual FUNSAT workshop was held on May 9th, 2008 begining at noon. The keynote speaker was Dr. Packham from the University of Florida Astronomy Department. In addition, our judges from Honeywell, AMSAT, and Cal Poly gave short presentations. Four finalists, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida Institute of Technology, Florida International Univesity, and the University of Florida made presentations based on their detailed design reports. Following these presentations, FIT and UF were co-awarded first prize, with each school receiving $7500. FIU won second prize and $1000, and ERAU won 3rd prize and $500. Congratulations to all participants!

FUNSAT VI Workshop

The Sixth workshop was held at the La Cita Country Club in Titusville on May 7, 2010. The featured speaker was Mr. Garrett Skrobot from NASA Kennedy Space Center. Three finalists, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida made presentations based on their detailed design reports. Following these presentations, the University of Central Florida FUNSAT design was awarded the first prize of $7500. UF won second prize and $1000, and ERAU won 3rd prize and $500. Congratulations to all participants!
